Deputy Home Manager required for a large premiums nursing and residential care home in Wiltshire.





This elegant, purpose-built home offers a five-star lifestyle and provides high-quality nursing and residential care, including support for those living with mild to moderate dementia.

The successful candidate will join an established and supportive leadership team, working alongside a very experienced and highly regarded Home Manager who has a long standing history within the group.







As the Deputy Care Home Manager you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of clinical, operational, and person-centred care. This is an opportunity to lead by example within a forward-thinking organisation that values compassion, innovation, and teamwork.





Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Home Manager in delivering exceptional standards of care and compliance.
  • Providing strong leadership and mentorship to nursing and care teams.
  • Promoting a culture of dignity, respect, and resident empowerment.
  • Assisting in the development of staff through coaching, supervision, and performance management.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the home in the Manager's absence.






Requirements:

  • Active NMC Registration (this is preferred, not essential)
  • Previous management and senior nursing experience in adult social care settings
  • Detailed knowledge of clinical governance and nursing best practices
  • The ability to lead, motivate, develop and delegate to others and be part of a supportive team
  • The ability to form relationships with a wide range of people, including residents and their families, the home team and medical professionals






Salary and Benefits:

  • 55,000 annual salary
