My client in the Atworth area require experienced Mechanical Fitters.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in working with hand tools and power tools. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling vechicle components to meet precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and join materials.
Install Panels on vechicles
Seak joints with Gel coatings
Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any fabrication issues.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineeringsector.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand drawings.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Hours of Work
(Apply online only) Monday to Thursday & (Apply online only) on a Friday
Up to 44hrs a week
