- Monday-Thursday: 07:00-15:30
- Friday: 07:00-12:00

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Assembly Operative to join a globally recognised engineering manufacturer based in Melksham. This is an excellent long-term contract opportunity with stable working hours and early Friday finishes.
You will be working on the assembly and testing of safety-critical mechanical products within a clean, well-organised production environment, following detailed engineering drawings and standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical assembly of precision components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Using hand tools and assembly equipment
- Quality checking and testing of assembled products
- Working to strict safety and quality standards
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly or mechanical fitting
- Confident reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
- Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
This role would suit candidates with experience as: Vehicle Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Assembler
