We are currently recruiting for a Plumber/Fitter to join our expanding client based in Melksham.

Suitable candidates will be an experienced Plumber and/or Gas fitter with good all-round skills, looking for a role with variety and prepared to work within a 50 mile radius of the office in Melksham. You could be from a service or maintenance background, or perhaps experienced as a fitter or installer.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Install commercial catering equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Perform plumbing tasks to provide adequate water supply & drainage for kitchen appliances.
  • Install electrical equipment to a suitable supply.
  • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify mechanical issues.
  • Adhere to safety standards while lifting heavy equipment and driving commercial vehicles.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and operations in catering environments.

About you:

  • Proficient in using hand and power tools for repairs and installations.
  • Strong plumbing skills for catering equipment maintenance.
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair commercial catering systems.
  • Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and commercial driving as needed.
