Vehicle Assembly

Location: Atworth


Hourly rate: 15.60ph + good bonus & overtime rates


Monday to Friday: 07:00-17:30, Monday to Thursday and 07:00-14:30 on Friday. 45 hours per week. Overtime available.

The Role
We are looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced welder to join our team; someone who is passionate about engaging with our company values and delivery quality service levels for customers.

Your role purpose will be to weld products from various materials such as alloy, mild steel and stainless steel. The welds will form part of a vehicle assembly and will be on display meaning that an eye for detail is required to ensure a bespoke and professional finish is achieved.

Day to day you will be:

Welding of mild and stainless steel & alloys using both MIG and TIG processes.

Measuring, cutting and finishing welded works to high standards.

Maintaining own tooling and workstations.

Ensuring workstation is kept clean and tidy and free from fire risks.

Training other team members when applicable.

Using hand tools such as grinders, circular saws, band saws and other hand tools relevant to the job.

Working independently and on own initiative to set timelines and standards.

Ensuring standards of good housekeeping are achieved in all work areas, including workshops, vehicles and at on site locations.

Carry out any other reasonable projects, tasks or duties to support the business as directed by management.

Compliance with company H&S, maintenance procedures & quality control to work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.

Ensure good personal time keeping and conduct in line with agreed policies and procedures.

Ensure all safety, regulatory, rule and Company changes/alterations to working practises are adhered to.
