We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the East Midlands, who are recruiting for a Senior Systems and Reporting Accountant on a permanent basis. The position’s start date is dependent on notice, offering a salary of up to £65,000 (DOE). Our client offers great hybrid working, with office presence once weekly or fortnightly depending on candidate preference.
The successful candidate must have experience using Oracle Financials across all core modules including general ledger, payables, receivables, fixed assets and more.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Serving as the primary administrator for Oracle Financials, ensuring system integrity and functionality
- Managing Oracle Financials, ensuring stability and performance across core modules (GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, and more)
- Maintaining and optimising user access, ensuring compliance with internal controls and security protocols
- Supporting all finance systems including: Bluebox, Spreadsheet Server, Purchase 2 Pay systems, asset 4000 and treasury systems
- Preparing accurate financial reports, reconciliations and variance analyses
- Leading on monthly and annual close processes, delivering timely and accurate financial reporting
- Improving finance systems and processes, using data to drive decision-making and enhancing service delivery
- Supporting and influencing strategic planning by providing insights based on system performance and compliance trends
Experience required:
- Experience using Oracle Financials across all core modules is essential
- CCAB qualification is highly desirable
