Class 2 Shunter DriverMelton Mowbray, LE13 Temp to Perm PositionASAP startClass 2 Shunter Driver Duties Overview:* Move vehicles around site* Swap demount boxes to correct chassis ready for the next shift and/ or driver* Wrapping frames and doors* Ensure that the interior of the vehicle is kept clean* Maintain a tidy lorry park* Assist the Logistics team in loading and finishing off vehicles* Check fluid levels to ensure that they are correct* Comply with current EU and Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation* Drive in a safe manner within current speed limits (allowing for local conditions)* Undertake daily vehicle checks using the AssetGo app* Complete manual entries on the tachograph unit* Liaise with the Logistics department regarding any challenges experienced*Please note, this position involves Warehouse Duties which can be up to 70% of the role.Shifts and Hours:* Sunday to Thursday * 2200 - 0600 shifts* 8 hour shift Rates of Pay:* £16.80 per hour (Advance Holiday Pay)* £17.80 per hour once completed Temp - Perm period (*Note Advance Holiday Pay not included once Perm)* PAYE ONLY Class 2 Shunter Driver requirements and skills:* You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 2 license, a valid Driver CPC and DIGI Cards* Must have 1 year check-able Shunter driving work history.* No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no BA/CD/CU DR/DD/IN offences please)* Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, and resilient - are welcomed attributes in this role.Driver Key Information and Benefits:* Benefits Hub - Enjoy discounts, rewards and perks on 1000's of brands you love in a variety of categories e.g Samsung, Nike, Apple and many more* Weekly pay * FREE onsite parkingTo be considered for this role as a HGV Class 2 Shunter Driver please apply directly or callus on .Drivers & logistics professionals wanted for temporary & permanent vacancies text "DRIVER" before your name, location and driving licence category to 88802
