Site Services Engineer – Contract (8 Weeks)

We are recruiting for a Site Services Engineer to support a large food manufacturing facility in Leicester. This is a contract position for approximately 8 weeks, starting early September, to cover an engineer currently off ill.

The Role:
You will be responsible for supporting all site services and facilities within a large-scale food factory. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient operation of boiler plants, as well as maintaining compliance with safety, legal, energy efficiency, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

  • Must be BOAS qualified (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme)

  • Proven experience in operating and managing boiler plants safely and efficiently

  • Strong awareness of safety, legislation, and environmental practices

  • Food manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential – boiler knowledge is key

Working Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday – 8-hour shifts

  • Flexible start and finish times (e.g., 6am–2pm, 8am–4pm)

  • Contract role – approximately 8 weeks
