What You Will Do:

- Perform electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs across the site to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operations.

- Conduct health and safety checks and repairs to uphold stringent safety standards and comply with legislation.

- Collaborate with production teams to implement planned maintenance and repairs, ensuring 24/7 operational efficiency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues to maintain high-quality standards and reduce process variation.

- Support the identification and procurement of spare parts and liaise with the Engineering Coordinator to maintain optimal stock levels.

- Assist in energy-saving initiatives and continuous improvements for plant utility services, including gas, water, and electricity.

What You Will Bring:

- Apprentice-trained background in Electrical Engineering.

- Proven experience in fault finding and repair of gearboxes, drives, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

- Familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings.

- A proactive mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
