What
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Tooling Design Engineer to help our client’s drive for innovation and excellence.
Role responsibilities: –
- Design and develop tooling for composite manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with Commercial and production teams to ensure tooling meets design specifications and production requirements.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed tooling designs and drawings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues during production.
- Continuously improve tooling designs to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Experience of working to ISO 9001 certification standards.
- Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
This is where you come in
Required Key Skills: –
- Proven experience in tooling design, preferably within the composites industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX).
- Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8am – 5pm
- Flexibility Required at certain times to meet business requirements
