Night Shift Stock Controller

Great opportunity to work as a Night Shift Stock Controller for our client which produces a range of high quality chilled Ready Meals supplying major retailers.

Staffline is recruiting Stock Controllers to work night shifts in Melton Mowbray.

The rate of pay is:

- Saturday £15.34 per hour
- Sunday £16.29 per hour

This is part-time role working fixed shifts, Saturday and Sunday, and the hours of work are:

-10pm to 6am

Your Time at Work:

As a Stock Controller your duties include:

- Receiving, checking, and recording deliveries of raw materials and packaging.
- Moving stock to the correct storage areas and keep things tidy and organised.
- Keeping daily records of stock in and out using paper or computer systems.
- Counting stock regularly and report any differences or shortages.
- Making sure products are used in the right order (FIFO – first in, first out).
- Working with production and warehouse teams to make sure the right items are available.
- Helping keep the cold store clean and safe at all times.
- Following all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety rules.
- Wearing the correct protective clothing for cold areas.

Our Perfect Worker:
Our perfect worker will be reliable, punctual, and a good team player. You will show good attention to detail and accuracy. Applicants will have basic computer or scanning system skills.

You will be able to work safely in cold conditions (between 0°C and -20°C), warm protective clothing and PPE will be provided.

Some experience working in a warehouse or food production environment is preferred but not essential.
