Job Description: Sales Merchandiser
Location: Midlands, Wales, & South-West England
Position Type: Full-Time
Package: £32,000 + Company Van + 6% Pension + Bonus
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Merchandiser to join our client, who specialises in power tools, accessories, and related products within designated retail locations internationally. The client has recently secured a large contract, and the Sales Merchandiser will be brought on to support these locations. You will be responsible for driving sales and enhancing brand visibility for power tools and accessories through effective merchandising, product demonstrations, inventory management, and building strong relationships with retail partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Brand Visibility: Drive sales and enhance brand visibility for power tools, accessories, and related products within designated retail locations.
- Merchandising Strategies: Execute merchandising strategies, ensuring optimal product placement and compliance with brand and retailer guidelines.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging product demonstrations, highlighting key features and benefits to drive sales.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, conduct routine stock checks, and address discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory.
- Customer Assistance: Assist customers by answering questions, demonstrating product functionality, and providing expert advice.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with store managers and retail staff to enhance product advocacy.
- Feedback and Reporting: Provide regular feedback and reporting on sales performance, product trends, and customer preferences.
Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience with power tools and a passion for tools and technology.
- Strong industry knowledge with previous experience in retail, merchandising, or sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in merchandising, promotions, and sales efforts.
- Highly organised with the ability to analyse sales data and provide actionable insights to drive growth.
- Clean driving license and willingness to travel to different store locations within the specified region, including 1-2 overnight stays per week.
