Heron Foods is looking for a Finance Administrator to join our growing finance team based at our Store Support Centre in Melton, near North Ferriby. Working closely with colleagues across departments, you’ll support key financial processes that keep the business running smoothly—from reconciling invoices to managing expense claims and assisting in the preparation of monthly accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage admin and coding for company credit cards, fuel cards, and accommodation accounts.
- Reconcile Love2Shop vouchers and maintain toll accounts.
- Access and maintain banking portals, input payments and update cash books.
- Code, upload, and process journals and purchase invoices using our automated platform.
- Complete weekly bank reconciliations and support the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Raise and reconcile sales ledger invoices.
- Match supplier invoices to goods received spreadsheets and check coding accuracy.
- Assist with maintaining the fixed asset register and ad hoc financial analysis.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts department.
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- Confident use of Excel (including basic and intermediate functions).
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A collaborative team spirit with the ability to work independently when required.
