Location: Rhydycar Business Park, Merthyr Tydfil, CF48 1DL

Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 13.69 per hour

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operations of the business and conference center.

  • Set up conference and training facilities.

  • Perform reception duties to ensure smooth center operations.

  • Provide front-line support for center users.

  • Assist with conference and training suite operations.

  • Help with catering services as needed.

  • Address facilities issues in collaboration with tenants and staff.

  • Conduct regular building inspections.

  • Perform minor cleaning tasks as required.

  • Support other civic properties when possible.

  • Follow Health & Safety policies.

  • Participate in decarbonization efforts to achieve net-zero emissions.

  • Handle cash transactions.

Person Specifications
Must Have

  • Ability to support daily operations and assist in various tasks.

  • Strong communication skills for face-to-face interactions.

  • Willingness to perform cleaning and minor maintenance.

  • Ability to handle cash responsibly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a business or conference center environment.

  • Familiarity with Health & Safety practices.

  • Interest in sustainability and decarbonization initiatives.
