An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Practitioner to join a busy and well-established nursery in Merton. The setting provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, with a focus on personalised learning and development.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will deliver high-quality early years care and education to children across different age groups, supporting their learning while contributing to a professional and friendly team environment.
You will be responsible for:
Providing engaging and age-appropriate activities to support children’s learning and development.
Ensuring the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues to support children’s progress.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, care, and compliance within the nursery setting.
Supporting the implementation of the nursery’s personalised curriculum and ethos.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Educator, Nursery Assistant or in a similar role.
Level 3 childcare qualification (Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse).
Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to complete).
Level 2 Food Hygiene (preferable).
Enthusiastic, caring, and committed to delivering outstanding early years care.
