Deputy Manager- Older Persons Residentail Care - 35,000 p/a

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support the Home Manager in delivering exceptional person-centred care to older people, including those with dementia.

With a negotiable salary starting of c16 per hour working a rotating shift of 8am - 8pm week 1 over 4 days and 8am - 8pm week 2 over 3 days providing the home with a Deputy Manager on site 8am to 8pm over 7 days a week. As a DeputyManager, you will:

  • Support the Home Manager in leading the residential care home.
  • Monitor the well-being of residents and ensure their personal and social care needs are met.
  • Provide leadership and management, including staff supervision and development.
  • Promote independence and well-being among residents.
  • Work full time on a rolling shift, week 1 8am - 8pm 4 days and week 2 8am - 8pm 3 days - these hours can be flexible for the right person!

The ideal Care Manager candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Deputy or Senior Care Assistant in residential care homes for older people.
  • Strong knowledge of the Care Standards Act 2000, Key Lines of Enquiry, Safeguarding, and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA).
  • A people-first approach with excellent leadership skills.
