Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 1 Truck driver, Who will be driving a Articulated vehicle, doing all bulker flat and curtain sided work. Will also be required to do nights out in the lorry within the working week.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a daily walk around check before setting off and one at midday for tyre's.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Ensure that the lorry is kept clean and well-maintained.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in class 1 driving is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
