Cleaner (6am-9am Mon-Fri)

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Rotherham.
Role Purpose
- Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors.
- Support the overall health and well-being of the community through high standards of cleanliness.
- Contribute to a positive learning environment by maintaining cleanliness in all assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard.
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying bins.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Report any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and appropriately, following health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure that all cleaning duties are carried out in line with the institution's policies and procedures.
- Lock and unlock designated areas as required.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Understanding of health and safety and COSHH regulations (training can be provided).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Right to work in the UK.
