Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a successful and respectable business based in the Mexborough area as they look to expand their payroll function with the recruitment of a confident & experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a part time basis of 3 days a week!

Duties and Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator will include:

* Maintain the Time and Attendance system by verifying and correcting time records, creating shifts and maintaining employees' profiles
* Revision of Overtime and Absence in the timekeeping system
* Uploading hourly data to Payroll software and balancing batches for assigned pay groups
* Undertake all relevant calculations for new starters, leavers and amendments
* Processing monthly Payroll data pack for two pay groups (T&A, Absence, overtime, allowances, holiday pay, deductions, fuel claims)
* Processing of voluntary deductions
* Processing payment requests from Third Party Providers
* Administrate benefit in kind data and ensure all P11D changes are registered accurately and timely
* Assist with the monthly reconciliation of PAYE payments
* Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll-related matters

Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak to individuals with the following skills and experiences:

* A minimum of 3 years' proven experience in processing payroll
* Understanding of tax procedures, familiarity with benefits and other wage deductions is essential
* Payroll qualification would be advantageous
* Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
* Willing to develop in other finance areas (Purchase Ledger etc.)
* Confident, polite, friendly and professional
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
* Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
