Description
As the Maintenance Engineer you will be tasked with the following;
- Execute regular maintenance and troubleshooting for manufacturing machines.
- Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor, identify and rectify faults to minimise downtime.
- Coordinate with the production team to align on maintenance schedules.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
- Document all maintenance activities for future reference and analysis.
- Provide technical support to the team as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry practices and safety regulations.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- A qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Apprenticeship ideally)
- Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
