A dynamic and expanding education provider based in Rotherham is seeking passionate and qualified Secondary Teachers across English, Maths, and Science. This unique role combines online teaching with face-to-face learner support, making it ideal for educators who want to make a real impact in alternative provision and virtual learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver live support to learners via virtual classrooms (chat and video)
  • Plan and record high-quality, engaging lessons for online delivery
  • Provide tailored academic guidance and feedback to support student progress
  • Offer in-person teaching and mentoring to small groups of learners
  • Liaise with partner schools regarding learner progress, behavior, and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with teaching colleagues to refine and improve delivery practices
  • Engage in regular CPD to keep up to date with best teaching practices
  • Follow all safeguarding protocols and contribute to a safe learning environment

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • A degree in Education or relevant subject (English, Maths, or Science)
  • Recent enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills
  • Experience working in alternative provision or online teaching environments is desirable but not essential
