Day to Day of the RoleAs a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of pupils with an Education Health Care Plan.
- Provide one-on-one support to pupils, helping them to overcome challenges and excel in their learning environments.
- Engage in activities that promote social, emotional, and academic growth among students.
- Use creative and innovative methods to enhance the learning experience and spark pupil interest.
- Act as a role model, inspiring pupils to achieve their best despite their challenges.
- Significant experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, ideally within an SEN setting.
- A current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one as part of your application.
- A confident, passionate approach to educational support, with a readiness to go above and beyond for our pupils.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport and fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
- A proactive attitude, with a commitment to personal and professional development.
