The RoleAs an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons to students with a range of additional needs, ensuring they are supported both academically and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Delivering differentiated lessons tailored to specific learning needs
- Collaborating with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Promoting inclusion and fostering a nurturing classroom environment
- Monitoring pupil progress and adapting strategies to support development
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with secondary-aged pupils with SEN
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and SEN strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
