WorkwithYorkshire are working with a client who have an excellent opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer Qualified, to join their busy legal team based in Sherburn in Elmet.

This is a full time, permanent role with a competitive salary on offer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential conveyancing and be able to manage a diverse caseload with minimal supervision.

Duties:

  • Handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, from instruction to completion.
  • Providing expert legal advice to clients, on all aspects of residential property matters.
  • Conducting thorough title investigations and draft relevant documentation.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other parties to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and industry developments.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines.

Key skills and experience;

  • Qualified solicitor, legal executive, or licensed conveyancer. Other experienced candidates will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, transfers and re-mortgages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in using conveyancing software and other relevant IT systems.
