HV Commissioning Engineer

Brownlee Cale are seeking an experienced HV Commissioning Engineer to join our client on an energy infrastructure project in the Northeast. 

The Role

• Commissioning of high voltage systems up to 275kV and 33kV

• Functional and protection testing of HV equipment, including switchgear and transformers

• Preparing and reviewing commissioning documentation, risk assessments, and method statements

• Working closely with project teams and clients to ensure successful delivery

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during commissioning

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in HV commissioning at 275kV and 33kV

• Strong knowledge of HV equipment, protection systems, and SCADA

• Ideally experience on BESS projects

• Ideally experience on National Grid Connections

• Safety-conscious with excellent problem-solving skills
