We are currently seeking for our client an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major Waste-to-Energy project based in Port Clarence, Middlesbrough. This is an ongoing contract position offering full-time hours 45 per week, Monday to Friday.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical teams on site, ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard

  • Oversee daily site activities and coordinate labour and resources

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures

  • Monitor progress against programme and report to project management

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to electrical operatives

  • Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications

Essential Requirements

  • Time-served Electrician

  • Strong background in heavy industry environments

  • Experience working on power stations, gas sites, or large industrial projects

  • Proven supervisory experience managing teams on site

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practice

Desirable

  • Previous experience on Waste-to-Energy or similar industrial energy projects

  • SSSTS / SMSTS certification (advantageous but not essential)
