Senior Design Co-ordinator / Technical Design Co-ordinatorLocation: MiddlesbroughSalary: £36,000 - £50,000 (Dependent on experience)

Are you currently in a design co-ordination role within the construction sector and looking for your next step? We're working with a well-established and forward-thinking contractor who is looking to expand their technical team with an experienced Senior Design Co-ordinator (or Technical Design Co-ordinator).

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team involved in technically complex projects, where you'll play a key role in managing and coordinating design from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

• Supporting the sales team with early engagement, project specifications, and technical reviews

• Assisting estimating by producing internal technical reviews for BOQs and quotations

• Acting as the key technical point of contact for the sales department

• Managing the design process from initial client information through to design freeze

• Overseeing RFI and design trackers

• Supporting client design teams and coordinating responses to RFIs

• Ensuring the design and engineering teams meet key programmes and Tekbuild requirements

• Driving value engineering and ensuring optimum technical solutions are implemented

• Overseeing document control and ensuring accurate logging, storage, and distribution

• Reviewing and updating internal design processes

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction sector

• A strong understanding of SFS, drylining, or cladding systems

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Confident managing multiple projects and coordinating across teams

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail
