Status: Contract, 12 months

Location: Middlesbrough

Addison Project Plc is seeking a contractor to provide Electrical (Design) Engineering services for a period of 12 months based in our office in Middlesbrough.

Services to be provided

  • Site, surveys, visits and client meetings
  • Electrical Cable routing drawings & cable schedules
  • Electrical Engineering Design
  • Electrical cable diagrams, Loop diagrams
  • Electrical installation Scope of Work documents
  • Electrical datasheets
  • Checking and approval of Engineering Design
  • Prepare vendor packs for invitation to tender and vendor liaison
  • Technical evaluations of estimates
  • Liaise with other disciplines; process, piping, mechanical, civil structural to co-ordinate requirements for vendor packages and design
  • Technical assistance on equipment specifications and compliance of bids

Person specification

  • You must possess suitable and relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC preferably a degree.
  • Experience of relevant calculations, problem solving and ensuring projects remain to specification within set timescales and to budget
  • Experience must be demonstrable working in the process sector - chemical, petrochemical, oil&gas, pharma, F&B
  • A good working knowledge of ATEX Directives for selection of electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas would be beneficial.
  • You must have experience attending and representing at Project Meetings with a range of stakeholders.
  • Distribution and motor control experience is desirable as is experience of Pro / Engineer software
  • LV experience is essential and we also welcome applictations from those with HV experience
