Job Title: FLT Counterbalance Driver

Stafforce is currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and safety-conscious team in Middlesbrough. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, good safety awareness, and a flexible attitude to working in a dynamic environment.
This role is based in a ports environment. It would suit someone with previous experience in similar settings; however, this is not essential for the right candidate with the relevant FLT experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate FLT Counterbalance trucks safely and effectively
- Follow site safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in assigned areas
- Follow loading working lists accurately and efficiently
- Support wider operational tasks as directed by supervisors
Requirements:
- Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong focus on health and safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Ports or logistics environment experience is desirable but not essential
Pay Rates:
- Up to 8 hours: 13.45/hr
- After 8 hours and Saturdays: 20.18/hr
- All hours worked on Sundays and Bank Holidays: 26.90/hr
