A nursery setting in Middlesbrough is seeking a full-time Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team from January. This role is ideal for an experienced early years practitioner who is confident supporting children within a nursery environment and contributing to a safe, nurturing, and engaging setting.

The successful candidate will work closely with nursery staff to support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in line with early years best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children's learning and development within the nursery setting

  • Assist with the delivery of age-appropriate activities and play-based learning

  • Support children with personal care routines where required

  • Promote positive behaviour, social skills, and independence

  • Work collaboratively with nursery practitioners and room leaders

  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times

Requirements:
