A global manufacturing organisation located in Middlesbrough is on the search for an HR Advisor (HR Generalist) to join their HR function on a permanent basis. This role does offer a hybrid model, but you will be required to be on site full-time for the first month or so.

My client is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team, reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner on site, overseeing the day-to-day operations and adhoc projects. This will be a varied role but a good opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities. Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Senior HR Business to provide operational HR support across the site
  • Managing the full employment lifecycle
  • Overseeing Employee Relation case management
  • Manage day-to-day HR issues
  • Supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedures effectively
  • Provide advice, guidance and coaching to managers on all HR issues
  • Produce HR KPIs, management reports on absence, disciplinary, remuneration and recruitment
  • Provide training to coach management on absence management
  • Support on key HR projects

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ability to proactively build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation
  • CIPD qualified or working towards with relevant experience within an HR Advisor role previously
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments
  • Strong ER experience
  • Up-to-date Employment Law knowledge
