JobPurpose

Toensuretheeffectiveimplementation,maintenance,andunderstandingofICBDistillersQualityManagementSystem(QMS)andHACCPprotocolsacrossthecompany.

Ensuringsystemsandproceduresmeetthehighestqualitystandards,legalrequirements,

andcustomerexpectations.ReportingtotheTechnicalManager,youwill
collaboratewithvariousdepartments,ensuringfoodsafetyandqualityateverystage.

Responsibilities:

QualityandComplianceManagement:

ImplementandmanagequalitysystemstoupholdallQMSandthird-partycertifications,includingBRCstandards.
EnsureongoingHACCPcomplianceandproperriskcontrol,participatingintheHACCPteamandmonitoringcriticalcontrolpoints.
Overseedocumentcontroltoensureallproceduresandpoliciesarecurrent.
Followupwithimplementedprograms(GMPs,GoodHygienePractices,HACCP,

AllergenControl,CleaningandSanitation,PestControl,EquipmentCalibration,

Organic

Certification,etc.)toensurecompliancebyallemployeesandotherpersonnelinthe

manufacturingfacility.
Closeoutnon-conformancesbyensuringcorrectiveactionsaretrackedandcompleted
Assistininvestigatingandcorrectingquality-relatedissues(includingcustomercomplaints)throughcollaborationwithother

departments.
ProductQualityAssurance:

EnsureallproductsmeetQASandcustomerspecificationsthroughrobustmonitoring

andcompliance.
Auditqualitycontrolofrawmaterials,packagingcomponents,labels,andfinished

productstoensurecompliancewithestablishedspecificationsandregulatory
standards

Coordinateaudits,calibrations,inspections,andsamplestomaintainfoodsafety

standards.
ProductionSupport:

CollaboratewithProductiontoensurequalityandsafetypracticesareintegratedand

followed.
ReceivecomplaintsfromtheTechnicalManagerregardingproduction-relatedissuesandconductnecessaryinvestigations.
SupportNewProductDevelopment(NPD)byattendinginitialproductionrunstoensurestandardsaremet.

Systems&ProcessImprovement:

Assistintheimplementationofpolicies,operatingprocedures,qualitysystemsand

programswhichensurepropertesting,evaluation,inspection,andtechnical
supportinordertomeetproductqualitystandards.
Overseetheon-hold/failsystemfortimelydispositionandreportingofheldstock.
Activelycontributetoprocessimprovements.

TeamLeadership:

LeadanddeveloptheQAandQCteam,fosteringaperformancedrivencultureand

identifyingtrainingneeds.


Knowledge&Experience:

Educatedtodegreelevelwithinafoodscienceorfoodtechnologydiscipline

3+yearsinaseniorqualityassuranceroleinfoodordrinksmanufacturing

Excellentworkingknowledgeoffoodhygieneandfoodsafetyrequirementsaswellas

BRCandUKGrocerauditrequirements.

Excellentpeoplemanagementskills

Strongcommunicationskills
