We are delighted to be working with a client in the Stokesley area, who are looking for someone with a background in insurance or financial services to join their team as an Insurance Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and supportive office, where customer care, honesty, and integrity are at the heart of everything they do.
As an Insurance Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the success of the local branch. You’ll work closely with existing and new customers, ensuring their needs are met and delivering a first-class service.
Responsibilities:
- Providing sales and service support to personal lines customers, converting quotes into new business
- Managing customer policy reviews to help retain existing business
- Processing customer instructions for policy amendments
- Recording and managing leads using a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Identifying cross-selling opportunities and introducing customers to financial services where appropriate
- Proactively seeking out new business opportunities
- Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge
- Undertaking additional administrative duties as required
About the candidate:
- A positive, can-do attitude with a strong attention to detail
- Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to in-house systems
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade C/4 or above), including Maths and English
- (Desirable but not essential) Two A-Level passes or prior insurance experience, ideally with CII qualifications
