Controls Engineer - The Role:
- Development of control systems (Siemens TIA / Allen Bradley)
- Commissioning of systems globally (UK, Europe, USA, South America)
- Maintain and update PLC and HMI/SCADA programs
- Attend project meetings both internally and externally
- Contribute to standardising efforts, and work as a developer for new functionalities
- Support customers with training and development
Controls Engineer - The Person:
- Educated in a relevant field such as electrical engineering, automation technology, machining etc.
- Ideally have strong experience in industrial PLC and HMI programming – preferably Siemens TIA expertise or Allen Bradley / Rockwell
- Alternatively have recent experience as a maintenance, service or commissioning engineer in an industrial automation environment
- Attentive to quality, a structured approach to work, good problem solving and flexibility to handle various tasks
- Passionate about programming & automation
- Flexibility to travel with the role throughout the UK & Worldwide – approximately (Apply online only) days away from home annually
Located in the Middlesborough area, this role would be commutable from; Stockton-on-Tees, Hartlepool, Redcar and Darlington.
