An established engineering solutions provider in the North East is seeking an experienced Site Services Manager to join their expanding UK operations. The company is renowned for delivering complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation systems to major industrial projects nationwide.
This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of site coordination, installation, and commissioning activities on large-scale engineering projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and major industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead on-site safety compliance and enforce company and client H&S standards.
Coordinate installation and commissioning activities between clients, internal teams, and project managers.
Supervise installation and integration of heavy mechanical and electrical systems.
Manage and allocate tasks to site and commissioning teams.
Oversee subcontractor performance and project delivery timelines.
Conduct site inductions, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes as required.
Provide regular progress updates to senior management and clients.
Develop and communicate commissioning schedules with engineering and project teams.
Support the delivery of service orders and customer spares.

Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience commissioning machinery and systems in heavy industrial environments (e.g. Mining, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Steel, or Rail).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Understanding of mining or similar process operations, including shaft sinking, roping of winders, and safety systems.
HND/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the UK.

IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent.

Package & Benefits:
£60,000 – £70,000 per annum (based on 40-hour week)
