Leadership qualities are also essential, as the Fitter will be expected to guide and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from schematics to assemble and install various mechanical systems.
• Conduct repairs on equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
• Build and maintain air conditioning units, ensuring optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Provide leadership and training to junior staff, fostering a culture of safety and quality workmanship.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and installations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working on-site.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Duct Fitter or in a similar role within the mechanical field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with air conditioning systems is highly desirable.
• Experience in reading schematics and technical drawings is essential.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor less experienced team members.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
