Cover Supervisors
Veritas Education are working in partnership with secondary schools across Middlesbrough, who require confident and reliable staff to provide absence cover on both a short-term and long-term basis.
We are currently recruiting for:
- Cover Supervisors - ideal for graduates, support staff, or those with experience working with young people
- Qualified Teachers - open to general cover across various subject areas
Role Details:
- Full-time and part-time roles available
- Temporary positions - flexible durations depending on school needs
- General cover - no planning or marking required
- You'll be expected to manage a classroom of up to 30 students and deliver pre-set work confidently
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students across KS3 and KS4
- A DBS registered on the Update Service is essential
- Previous classroom experience is desirable, but we are also open to applicants with relevant experience working with large groups of children or young people - for example, in sports coaching, youth work, or mentoring roles
