Humanities Teacher

Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Long-term Temporary
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay: 160-250 p/day

Veritas Education are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Humanities Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Middlesbrough area. This is a full-time long-term temporary role starting as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate will be a History specialist, confident teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and able to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire pupils of all abilities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge, ideally in History
  • Confident delivering lessons to KS3 & KS4
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term role
