Senior Product required for a leading Flavours and Fragrances manufacturer based in North East England

Company:Multinational flavour and fragrance manufacturer, that supplies its products to some of the leading brands across the globe. The company is now in stage of investment into people and facilities and has very ambitious growth plans.

Hours of work:8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

Location:North East England

NB - own transport is desirable due to location.

Duration:Permanent

Salary:50k+ (depending upon your experience)

You will be involved in:

  • Creating and developing flavours and fragrances blends based upon customer and consumer trends (NPD and EPD activities).
  • Helping with the scale-up of products, including, training methods and updating SOPs, along with process improvement activities.
  • Guiding analytical test methods for the QC department along with sensory analysis.
  • Ensure that products meet regulatory standards and compliant.
  • Reviewing raw materials and looking at new innovations to improve products and reduce costs.

What do you need to be considered?

You will need:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in science or food related subject.
  • Working knowledge of formulation /developing new flavours and fragrances.
  • Prior experience of managing teams and projects.
  • Experience of working to HACCP, GMP and Food Hygiene standards.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and prior customer service experience.
  • Ideally knowledge of analytical and scale-up chemistry.
