Salary: 70K + package

I'm currently working with a well-established national housebuilder who are looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team. With a strong pipeline of developments and a reputation for delivering quality homes, this is a great time to be joining them.

This role will suit someone who thrives on taking ownership, can manage multiple projects at once, and wants to play a key part in driving financial performance across live housing sites.

The role:

• Oversee the commercial and financial management of multiple residential developments

• Take responsibility for budgets, valuations, subcontractor procurement and payments

• Negotiate to achieve best value and maximise margins

• Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting to senior management

• Collaborate closely with site teams and other departments to ensure smooth project delivery

• Mentor junior surveyors and support their development within the team

What you'll need:

• Background in residential housebuilding (essential)

• Strong commercial and cost control skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects

• HNC/HND or degree in a construction-related subject

• Proficiency with Excel and other cost management systems

• Full UK driving licence
