Veritas Education are seeking a confident and capable individual to support the delivery of Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a mixed 11-16 secondary school in Middlesbrough. This is a long-term temporary role, starting ASAP, and would suit either a qualified Maths teacher or a strong cover supervisor with experience covering Maths content at secondary level.

The school is on a sustained journey of improvement and is looking for someone with excellent classroom management skills and a proactive approach to supporting student progress.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified Maths teacher or an experienced cover supervisor confident delivering Maths at KS3 and KS4
• Have strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
• Be resilient, adaptable, and committed to supporting student learning
• Have recent experience in a secondary school setting
• Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
