We're looking for a skilled Industrial Sewing Machinist to join a well established equipment manufacturer.
You will use a range of industrial sewing machines to create high-quality garments that meet both design specifications and production deadlines.
You will work closely with designers, pattern makers, and other team members to ensure every product meets our high standards for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Operate a variety of industrial sewing machines
Work collaboratively with designers and pattern makers to ensure finished products meet all design and technical specifications.
Read and interpret sewing patterns, including cutting instructions, seam allowances, and stitching details.
Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency in all stitching work.
Perform quality control inspections on finished garments to ensure they meet company standards.
Meet productivity targets and adhere to production schedules and deadlines.
Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Keep your workspace clean, organised, and efficient at all times.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read patterns and technical sewing instructions.
Reliable, efficient, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong time management and ability to work to tight deadlines.
Knowledge of garment construction and textile handling is an advantage
