We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Protection Social Worker to join our team. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children within our organization.
Position description / Job description- Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and circumstances.
- Develop and implement care plans to safeguard children's welfare.
- Liaise with families, schools, and other agencies to coordinate support services.
- Attend court hearings and provide expert testimony when required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of casework activities.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of child protection policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular supervision and team meetings.
- Advocate for the rights and well-being of children.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant social work qualification (BA, MA, DipSW or equivalent).
- Significant experience in child protection work.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and report writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Resilience and ability to manage a demanding workload.
- Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.
- A valid driving license and access to a car (advantageous).
