Role Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with SEN children and be adept at providing personal care. Experience in medication administration is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to pupils, including assistance with hygiene and feeding.
- Support pupils with severe complex medical needs in their daily activities.
- Assist in the administration of medication as required.
- Collaborate with teachers and healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
- Monitor and report on pupils' progress and well-being.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with SEN children.
- Ability to provide personal care with sensitivity and respect.
- Knowledge of medication administration (preferred).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
