Our client in the Heywood area is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to cover maternity leave until January 2026.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role, particularly in reconciling and processing financial transactions accurately.
Attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical skills, and proficiency in Sage 200 or other accounting software are preferred.
Competency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required, and experience in Construction & CIS payments is desirable.
The position offers a salary of £25,000 per year and requires at least two years of relevant experience.

Previous experience of working in a similar role ,including reconciling and processing all financial transactions with accuracy

Attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills along with experience of Sage 200 (preferable) or other accounting software

Competent user of microsoft Office including Excel

Previous experience of working in Construction & CIS payments is desirable

We are looking for an enthusiastic,positive team member who can demonstrate a flexible and analytical approach to work

Commercial awreness and an understanding of financial systems and functions would be an advantage
