Location: Middlewich
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Shift: 6:00am - 2:15pm and 11:45am - 8:00pm
My client is looking for a maintenance fitters to join their ever-growing team in the manufacturing industry, open to candidates from both electrical and mechanical backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and fix problems with manufacturing machines and mechanical parts.
• Work with machine operatives for machine set ups and change overs.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly and yearly machine servicing.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Test and inspect electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures to ensure compatibility and safety of systems (Electrical Maintenance Fitter).
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company.
• Carry out other reasonable requests made by the line manager to support departmental or company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health & Safety are complied with.
• Observe and comply with all good working practices.
Essential Criteria:
• Appropriate city & Guilds and/or NVQ3 Qualification (Essential for Electrical).
• Adept at using Microsoft Word and Excel packages.
• Methodical approach to solving queries.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative, but understand level of responsibility within the team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of people.
• Ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently.
• Be highly motivated.
• Valid driving licence.
