Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Fleet Administrator to join Cheshire East Council's Waste, Cleansing, and Fleet Services Department on a 12 month temporary contract covering maternity leave. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Duties:

  • Efficient use of IT systems to maintain databases, update records, and process orders and invoices

  • Handle face-to-face, telephone, and email enquiries, delivering excellent customer service

  • Manage administrative processes, including insurance claims paperwork, daily work sheets, and route risk assessments

  • Organise financial transactions such as reconciliation of income and preparation of banking submissions

  • Support the organisation of meetings and events, including taking notes and following up on actions

  • Engage with service users through surveys and assist in promotional campaigns and events

  • Maintain accurate filing and recording systems to provide accessible information and statistical reporting

  • Support the handling of motor vehicle insurance claims and ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office and bespoke systems

  • Previous experience in administration and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to manage your workload independently, with attention to detail and customer focus
