Job Description:

A leading business-to-business  IT Service Provider supporting customers across the UK and Worldwide is seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their ICT team.

Role Requirements:
  • Experience: IT support, installations, troubleshooting
  • Knowledge: Microsoft platforms, Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware
  • Skills: Ubiquiti UniFi, DrayTek, NETGEAR, Cisco, backup platforms (Azure, Altaro, Datto), network infrastructure (IPv4, IPv6), CRM systems
  • Familiarity with backup platforms including Azure, Altaro and Datto
  • Working knowledge of configuring all types of network infrastructure including IPv4 and IPv6 networks
  • Familiarity with CRM system
Responsibilities:
  • Install wired/wireless network infrastructure, software, and hardware
  • Maintain asset and licensing records
  • Assist junior colleagues with IT support
  • Conduct customer training
  • Complete onsite and remote installations of wired and wireless network infrastructure
  • Complete onsite and remote installations of Microsoft and bespoke software
  • Complete onsite and remote installations of hardware
  • Maintaining accurate records of assets and licensing
  • Helping junior colleagues with IT support activities including complex tasks and escalations
  • Complete customer training via web demonstration, telephone and customer visits.
