Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating vehicle damage, providing accurate assessments, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of repairs needed
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining damage, repair estimates, and recommended actions
  • Communicate findings clearly to customers, insurance companies, and repair teams
  • Upsell additional services or repairs where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and business revenue
  • Handle cash transactions accurately when processing payments or deposits
  • Maintain organised records of assessments, repairs, and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and quality standards are met
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and providing professional advice

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in vehicle assessment or related automotive roles is desirable
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to identify vehicle damage accurately
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanour
  • Ability to upsell services tactfully while maintaining integrity and customer trust
  • Experience in cash handling and transaction processing is preferred
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A valid driving licence is required for mobility between locations if necessary
