We are actively recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join this hugely successful multi-site food manufacturing business at their location near Middlewich.
The Role:
- Carry out planned/scheduled maintenance tasks & record work done or required on CMMS
- Assist with machinery installation and decommissioning
- Diagnose machine breakdowns and act accordingly
- Communicate and escalate accordingly when assistance is required
- Carry out routine equipment safety and maintenance inspections
- Ensure all work conforms to statutory & safety requirements
- Ensure that plant and equipment perform to manufacture product efficiently to high quality standards.
- Undertake the training of others as required for development and regulatory requirements
- Participate in Continuous Improvement teams as required
- Communicate daily with Team Leaders & Managers to ensure planned maintenance, engineering and production priorities are understood.
- Focusing on the safety and reliability of the equipment to ensure they meet production demands.
About You:
- Fully qualified Maintenance Engineer, accredited to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or BTEC
- Experience of PPM Implementation, delivery and control within a maintenance background
- A working knowledge of continuous improvement / operational excellence delivering using 5S, Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Problem Solving
- Effective fault diagnostic and have excellent problem-solving skills
- A focus on Health and Safety in the workplace
